Manvi Daga

Manvi Daga is a New York and India based womenswear designer with focus on textile and print development inspired by beauty captured through her photography. The imagery is always detailed, dark, beautiful and fantasy like - in turn creating rich juxtapositions in the form of textiles. Her textiles are made through techniques of appliqué, beading, embroidery and hand printing. Working with these textiles on more wearable silhouettes - she caters to the every day girl who values artisanal work and detail. Taking from her Indian culture she also works with draping and creating silhouettes that make the body feel at ease. Her aim is to take from techniques used in the Indian culture, and give them a wider platform in terms of wearability and use.
