Yolanda was my grandmother.

The most lovable and humble human being, yet with a very, very strong character. Her beauty inside and out, her ‘heavy bone’ body, and her sense of style, would create her presence distinct from everyone else.

She collected handbags, sunglasses and an extensive amount of jewelry. Her closet was my wonderland and that's how I was introduced to the fashion world. After her passing, she became my biggest inspiration; I inherited all of her belongings. It never fails to amaze me all the beautiful pieces that she collected and now have become the treasures of my inspiration.

This thesis is a representation of my connection with my grandmother and my way of a love letter to her. It shows how within my passion I keep her alive.

Te extraño abuela y esto es para ti.
