Qianyi Wang

Qianyi Wang, a New York based fashion designer who grew up in the historical city Beijing.

My works for the past 5 years has combined with the sustainability, technical creations and funional garments with a thouch of romantic feelings.

For every revolution in human history, there are the progress in science and technology, and also the challenges of human nature, just like the  industry revolution and the AI revolution that are happening right now. Through my work, I'm pursuing a balance between functionality and romance, to create techwear with temperature.

I was inspired by the Frankenstein movie in 1931. As the first science - fiction story, it is a story about the conflict between a human made creature and human feeling.
