Jason Yoo

Jason Yoo is a South Korean American ready-to-wear designer and pattern maker who switched career paths from becoming a law enforcer to a designer.  His designs focus on camouflage, comfort, evolution, and familiarity.  To Jason, familiarity is not only a method of camouflage but also plays a role in instinctively attracting the eye and mind. 

Jasons goal is to create the next evolution of what the garment could become.  Many of his designs start from the standard form, find flaws, and come up with design solutions through constant draping/prototyping.  He is constantly finding new ways to improve the design to re-release in his future collections.  Jason sees fashion design as a way of engineering.
