SWEAT and STONE

This project started with an exploration of homoerotic spaces and men’s intimatewear- looking at cruising culture in the 70s/80s. The concept of outdoor sex inspired a body of clothing which was sensual, while tactical for this situation. The idea of "sex as sport" and masculine-centric lingerie informed the fluid shapes, natural color palette, and use of camping hardwear. Garments are waterproof and transformable, featuring camouflage prints, focusing on the act of undressing and interaction of body and landscape.
